  • Teen.com - Teen.com is a family friendly site that brings teens together, with their contemporaries, around the world through an on-line community that is fun, friendly and informative. The activities, information and much of the content are suggested and provided by the teens themselves, keeping Teen.com fresh and relevant to teenagers and their parents.
  • Teens Helping Teens  This website is designed to help millions of teens, parents and teachers of learning disabled students.
  • Teen Hoopla Making sure that libraries provide good service to teenagers, that's what YALSA (the Young Adult Library Services Association) is all about.
  • Teen Zone  Very nice resource for additional quality teen sites.
  • YellowRibbon.org Because of the internal nature of depression and loneliness,  thousands of youth who appear to be happy are screaming silently in the deepest emotional pain, what can we do? We can reach out and help youth through the Yellow Ribbon Suicide Prevention Program!
  • Brain*Storm Brain*Storm is a place where young people can explore their challenges and problems. Problems at home, at school, with parents, with friends. A lot of times, being a teen-ager is fun and exciting, but it can also be painful and confusing.
     
  • Atomic Teen  A very good teen search engine and web zine. You can search for a variety of topics including entertainment, music, movies, TV, games and more.
  • Babysitter's Guide to Safety Babysitting is one of the biggest responsibilities a teen will ever accept... even to an experienced babysitter. When parents trust someone to baby-sit, they are placing their child(ren's) safety in their hands. This is something that should be taken very seriously. Remember, however, that a Babysitter's safety is just as important. The following are some tips on what jobs to accept, how to handle emergencies, and how to stay safe while on the job.

  • Teen Central - The vision behind TeenCentral.Net is to help teens in crisis by giving them a private, anonymous place to receive sound, tested advice from professionals and to relate with their peers in a safe, professionally counseled environment.
  • Do Something - In their own words, "Do Something Mission: We inspire young people to believe that change is possible, and we train, fund and mobilize them to be leaders who measurably strengthen their communities."
  • Focus Adolescent Services  This excellent site is a very useful resource that contains  teen and family issues with links to articles and organizations that can help you.  Lists of Boarding schools, summer camps, residential and day treatment, special schools, schools for pre-teens and young teens, outdoor and wilderness programs, transport services. State-by-state listing of helping organizations, local resources, and support groups for the United States.
  •  GirlSite!  Imagine a community of girls on the net who speak their minds, share their ideas and make lasting friendships.
  • Prom and PromDress  Get all the answers to you  questions about what to do with your date, how to wear your dress or tux, where to pin a corsage, and a million others.
  • National Institute on Drug Abuse  NIDA's mission is to lead the Nation in bringing the power of science to bear on drug abuse and addiction. This charge has two critical components: The first is the strategic support and conduct of research across a broad range of disciplines. The second is to ensure the rapid and effective dissemination and use of the results of that research to significantly improve drug abuse and addiction prevention, treatment, and policy.
  • National Runaway Switchboard The National Runaway Switchboard operates a confidential hotline for runaway youth, teens in crisis, and concerned friends and family members. All services are free and available 24 hours every day. Over 250,000 people have used NRS services in 1997 and 1998. Tel 1-800-344-2785
  • React is an online destination for teens ages 13-17 that supports and celebrates teens' involvement in every aspect of their world.
  • Rock The Vote  Rock the Vote is dedicated to protecting freedom of expression and helping young people realize and utilize their power to create change in the civic and political lives of their communities. We highly recommend this site.
  • Seventeen Online See the "dish of the day", get your horoscope, read about your favorite pop star or join in one of the many discussions at the message board. All the things young teens love to do.
